Now Here I Am! :)

Not a lot to say (I think lol) but that I am from Argentina , a country in South America . I am a single mum who LOVES to do a lot of things all together lol. I am almost 28 years old (old old I may add lol) with an almost 8 years old son. I started uni, studying Graphics Design before having him when I was 19, before that I studied Psychology, don't ask me why cause I still don't know what was going through my head when I decided to study that lol. I've been designing on paper since forever, mostly clothes. So when I was at uni studying Graphic's Design after a while I started to think it wasn't what i wanted. I wanted something more than just drawings logos and ads as they were making me do. I wanted to switch to Fashion Design. But my son was born in October and I don't know if you know that in the southern hemisphere classes' start in March and end up in November/December, and they wouldn't let me finish the course :( With the baby I couldn't go to Uni so I started to go to pottery courses and painting ones. Done a lot of nice things and as usual I wanted MORE! :P But that didn't happen lol Still when he was 1 year old I started working at an office :( and worked there till 1999. But in 1998, when I had my first PC I was living alone at that time with my baby boy. And someone came to me saying I could access the net. OMG!! It was a thrilling experience lol. I could check mails and get music and such at work lol but AT HOME???? lol Yep in this country everything is so slow, we didn't have net access till then, how sad is that? Well I discovered a whole new world. WEB PAGES! And I wanted one lol. Yet I was still working at the office and started to check other sites in my spare time and opened “FrontPage” for the first time lol. I DON'T use it anymore now. Yes I still have it there and I remember my first sites all full of animated gifs I saved from the web and page loaded up after 4 hours lmao but I was happy with MY OWN website. But my dreams were crushed by some people and then I decided to stop working at the office and get a job were I could be more artistic. Started working at this art shop where they used to teach ship modeling and miniatures and dollhouses. My uncle owned the shop. Another woman's dream come true lol working and playing?? That was cool. Then the shop was moved and was only a workshop so what I was doing was building ship models, scaled ones and I've done a few :) I used to go to this places during the weekends where I could see all this people working and making earrings and necklaces. I couldn't find one that I liked. Back to the shop I got myself some pliers and wire and started turning the wire and making loops lol that's how I started on the jewelry design. Making my own earrings and other things I liked and I couldn't find anywhere else. Now every birthday or Christmas I get a nice set of pliers and cutters lol or something for my pc. Through the years I worked there I kept on exploring the web design field and it was getting my full attention, so started go less to the shop and I was taking flash lessons and making my own logos and my own animated gifs. In the year 2002 started working with SWISH. If you don't know this program please search for it or buy it because it's like flash but easier. And I made my first website intro for a friend. And I never stopped since then.Im so glad sometimes I found this world though sometimes I wish I never did lol *headache* :) but I found great friends on here who helped me a lot with this! To name a few: John, Martin, Rachel, Digi, Will , Chief, Ed, Steve and a few other who I won't or can't mention :P .As I was told I am a great inspiration for some of them and I got them into the design world but for me they are very important , apart from the fact they have to put up with me lol they help me a lot along my recent exploration and discovery. I am happy to know them and I am happy as well that I decided to go back to uni this year. They all have been very supportive! Im studying MULTIMEDIA DESIGN now at a Special Effects school :D yay!! It's so great but has it disadvantages lol well not really… I mean, I've seen all this people working on their model and masks and all the special fx stuff and I want that too lolol so I think my life and studies wont stop here….I think even though I am studying this career now, some new careers will come up and I know new lines and adventures are waiting for me….
